Free Medical Records in Texas for your SSI or SSDI claim

In Texas, if you are seeking free medical records for your SSI or SSDI claim, then we should be able to obtain your medical records for free.  Texans are fortunate to have the law in the Texas Health & Safety Code. That law states that in disability cases, health care providers are not allowed to charge for copies of your medical records. The statute is §161.202 (Click Here) of the Texas Health & Safety Code. Sometimes they are not aware of this Texas law and must be informed about it.  However, since most major medical establishments are aware of this law, you should not have issues obtaining your medical records for free.
