Lupus and Social Security Disability

From time to time, we at Marcy Disability will address specific disease that can cause disability.  This article addresses lupus, an auto-immune disease that goes after healthy tissue.  The symptoms can be severe and multi-faceted might include joint pain, skin sensitivities, fatigue, rashes, and problems with your internal organs, such as your kidneys and heart.  Severe pain and swelling are often present.  Their immune system sends antibodies against the healthy tissue instead of protecting the body from unwanted substances or antigens.
